⭐ Cleaning Instructions
✔ For Lacquer-Coated Items (This product is lacquer-coated)
Use only soft sponge + mild liquid soap
Do NOT use metal scrubbers or abrasive pads
Avoid harsh chemicals
Wipe dry with a soft cloth after washing
Scratching or scrubbing can permanently damage the lacquer coating.
✔ For Non-Lacquer Items (General rule for future products)
Regular washing is allowed
Can be polished as required
⭐ Caution
Do not place lacquer-coated items on fire, gas stove, induction, microwave, or oven.
The coating will burn, blacken, and get permanently damaged.
Do not keep airtight brass/copper items in the refrigerator.
Pressure differences may cause cracks.
If a lacquer-coated item gets hit hard or falls strongly,
it can bend, and the lacquer layer at the impact spot may chip off.
That exposed area may naturally develop dark patches, which is normal for real brass/copper.
Non-lacquer items may also bend if dropped or hit — this is normal for pure handcrafted metal products.
Avoid acidic cleaners and harsh chemicals.
⭐ Natural Brass & Copper Behaviour (Important)
These characteristics are normal signs of genuine handcrafted metal:
✔ Blackish patches
Pure brass/copper may develop natural dark areas over time, especially where lacquer is absent or removed.
✔ Black/Brown polishing powder
A thin powder may appear due to buffing and finishing stones — it goes away with gentle washing.
✔ Kalhai (tinning) marks on kansa/copper items
Small metal-like marks are normal and completely safe.
✔ Initial residue on lacquer items
Very minor residue may show during the first few uses — disappears after gentle washing.
