⭐ Cleaning Instructions
✔ For Lacquer-Coated Items (This product is lacquer-coated)

Clean using a soft sponge + mild liquid soap only

Do NOT use scrub pads, steel wool, or abrasive cleaners

Wipe dry immediately with soft cloth

Avoid harsh chemicals and acids
Scrubbing can permanently damage the lacquer coating.

✔ For Non-Lacquer Items (General rule for future products)

Regular washing is perfectly fine

Metal can be polished occasionally

⭐ Caution

Never place lacquer-coated brass/copper items on fire, gas stove, induction, microwave, or oven.
The coating will burn, blacken, and permanently peel off.

Do NOT keep airtight brass/copper items in the refrigerator.
Pressure changes may cause cracks.

Hard impact or falling can bend the product.
On lacquer-coated items, the lacquer at the impacted area may chip off, causing natural dark patches to appear — this is completely normal.

Non-lacquer items may bend if hit strongly (normal for pure metals).

Keep away from chemicals and acidic cleaners.

⭐ Natural Brass Behaviour (Important)

These characteristics are normal for genuine handcrafted brass:

✔ Blackish patches

Appear naturally over time where lacquer is absent or removed.

✔ Black/Brown polishing powder

Residue from final buffing — disappears after washing.

✔ Kalhai (tinning) marks

Common on kansa/copper items; completely safe.

✔ Initial lacquer residue

May appear during first washes — goes away with use.
